In June 2025, he Mahaba Foundation, in partnership with the Igulu Foundation in Bujagali Village, Eastern Uganda, launched the Bujagali Vocational Training and Creative Arts Center to support vulnerable children and single mothers through education and practical skills. Since 2018, Igulu has focused on breaking the cycle of poverty by supporting orphans, disadvantaged youth, and single mothers with programs that emphasize self-reliance and skill-building.
The center provides vocational training in sewing and other trades, helping single mothers establish sustainable livelihoods, while also offering creative arts workshops that promote self-expression, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
Donations to the Mahaba Foundation will directly fund training programs, materials, and operational costs, ensuring the success of this community-driven initiative. Together, the Mahaba and Igulu Foundations are creating lasting opportunities for resilience and self-sufficiency in Bujagali Village.
